HI, I’M ALLIE.

My name is Allie, and I would love to be your wedding photographer. I am a Nashville native, and I currently live in Madison with my husband Jacob and our personality-packed Mini Australian Shepard, Franklin.

I picked up my first camera when I was 12 years old, and I couldn’t get enough of it. I would conduct a photoshoot with anyone I could convince to be my subject, whether it was my friends, my brother, or even the family dog. Photography remained a hobby all through high school and college, but after I graduated with a degree in Psychology, I realized that photographing people and watching confidence come to life from behind a camera was my passion. When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching The Office, knitting, gardening, taking care of my house plants, dancing, or taking on house projects. While I’m editing your session, I usually have the help of a true crime podcast and a hot cup of coffee (or matcha if it is over 90 degrees in Nashville).

CONFIDENCE AND COMFORTABILITY ARE CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

CAMERA SHYNESS IS A THING OF THE PAST.

I give fun prompts and spark conversation so that you forget you’re even being photographed.

A SEAMLESS PROCESS IS KEY.

I show up prepared in knowing timelines and who you are based on intentional questionnaires.

I’M HERE TO HELP GUIDE YOU.

I don't want to leave you hanging or feel that you have to model. I give confidence-building poses and prompts that give you a fun experience rather than a stiff photoshoot.

My Values.

EFFORTLESS AND JOYFUL

Whether I’m photographing your wedding or engagement session, I always make it my aim to bring my full and present self to your most treasured moments.

My goal is to help you feel like you can also be your most full and present self, by curating the moment through directional posing and prompts, so that you don’t have to think; you can just have fun! I want each session to be as joy-filled and memorable as the photos that I deliver to you.

In my approach to editing, I aim to keep colors true to life with a stylistic approach so that you can look back on your wedding day and vividly remember the lighting and colors that made your day beautiful.

FAQs

  • I only offer family sessions on mini session dates. However, if there is a session you have in mind that would not be a great fit for a mini session, please fill out the contact form, and I would be happy to provide a quote!

  • I do offer mini sessions on special dates throughout the year. Fall is the most popular time for mini sessions for me, and if you would like to stay in the loop for when I offer them, make sure you get on the mailing list! Everyone on the mailing list will get first priority before it is marketed to the public for booking. These are 20 minute sessions and a budget friendly option for you, your family, and more.

  • I do photograph boudoir! Wedding clients receive a discount on sessions in my private in-home studio. To see my boudoir portfolio and see the studio, you can request information or follow the private Instagram account @alliechambersboudoir.

  • I always love doing engagement sessions for my clients because it gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other before the big day. It also helps me know how you like to be photographed, so that I can best pose you on wedding day. I do have a location guide for my clients that may not have an idea of where they would like to shoot, but if you have an idea in mind that is meaningful to you as a couple, I always recommend aiming for that first.

  • For weddings, I book 16-18 months in advance.
