Tate and Shaye at The Views at Sunset Ridge

Tate and Shaye

Everyone involved in Shaye and Tate’s wedding day helped make it into the masterpiece that it was; from the wedding venue staff at The Views at Sunset Ridge, to Shaye’s parents and grandparents, some of the sweetest people that I’ve ever met, to Tate’s father, who officiated the wedding so so well. Of all of these amazing people and moments though, the best by far was Tate’s brother; he had been deployed in the Ukraine for months and was filled with regret when he told Tate that he wouldn’t be able to be there on her wedding day. When a surprise knock on the door of the bridal suite flustered Tate moments before the ceremony was supposed to begin, she was no sooner in tears as she opened the door to see her brother smiling down at her. All the way from the Ukraine, he made it just in time to watch her walk down the aisle on one of the biggest days of her life. The robust emotions in the room in that very moment hold so true to the entirety of Shaye and Tate’s big day.

The wedding theme was complemented by the beautiful colors of East Tennessee fall, from the gorgeous tree’s and mountains standing tall behind the wedding party pictures, to the moody black dresses and burgundy bow ties worn by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Everything about this day was full of immaculate beauty, heartfelt laughter, and authentic love, making it such an incredible day from start to finish.
